Debut Single “GO” Out Worldwide
Upbeat paced, classic in its form but contemporary in its production, ‘Go’ hits the high notes only a handful of singers ever reach. And at age 15, Jennifer King’s voice is already reaching for the crowns worn by her major influences – SZA, Whitney and Alicia Keys.
Recorded in London (UK) and Toronto through Atlantic Bridge Music in late 2021, ‘Go’ is an anthem for the Gen Z’ers who are embracing a more natural flow of life in place of the heavily strategized culture of social media they’ve grown up with. An unrelenting hymn with nods to classic hip hop and pop, ‘Go’ promises the dancefloor weight of 80’s Madonna stepping on the gas with Doja Cat in a convertible.
Lyrically, Jennifer sings of not believing in schemes OR dreams. She is neither tailoring her avatar for all to see, nor dreaming her life away trying to be something that she is not.
Her message is about the power of action over identity.
